This symposium carries 3.75 PDHs (Professional Development Hours).
ACEC's Private Market Symposiums convene clients, economists, policy makers and engineering leaders in different cities throughout the U.S. for in-depth looks into each private market. This Symposium focuses on the Health Care+Science Technology Markets and is limited to about 75 attendees, enabling an intimate environment for networking between colleagues, clients, and industry leaders.
The health care (HC) and science+technology (S+T) markets are large with $45 billion in HC construction estimated for 2020, according to FMI. In addition to hospitals, facility types include outpatient centers and medical office buildings (MOBs), as well as laboratory, production and administrative space for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and university clients. A wide range of engineering services are provided to these clients, often with specialized needs related to mechanical/electrical, HVAC, and commissioning.
