This symposium carries 2 PDHs (Professional Development Hours).
Join us for the virtual Commercial & Residential Real Estate Symposium on March 4 where you'll hear from industry speakers on trends, opportunities and challenges connected to this market.
ACEC's Private Market Symposiums convene clients, economists, policy makers and engineering leaders in different cities throughout the U.S. for in-depth looks into each private market. This Symposium focuses on the Commercial & Residential Real Estate Markets and is limited to about 75 attendees, enabling an intimate environment for networking between colleagues, clients, and industry leaders.
The commercial and residential real estate market encompasses a variety of property types, including: office, industrial, retail, multi-family residential (including student and senior housing), hospitality, and health care. A wide range of engineering services are provided to clients typically developers of owner users such as large retailers. Services often include mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP), structural, site-civil, surveying, geotechnical, and environmental services. Land development-focused firms also include residential home builders as major clients.
The symposium will address these key questions and more…
- When office growth remains flat, what does the new post-covid office market look like?
- How will strong growth in the industrial/distribution market meet the growing demand of e-commerce particularly in urban areas?
- Will the ‘Retail apocalypse’ and adaptive reuse of properties continue in the near term?
- Can we continue to expect growth of suburbs and second-tier cities as Millennials approach middle-age and expand families?
