With the help of industry stakeholders, the Army Corps of Engineers has finalized its procedures for the selection of task orders on Architect-Engineer Indefinite Delivery Contracts (Known as the TORN Process).
In 2020, USACE instituted a new process to select Architect-Engineers for execution of task orders under Indefinite Delivery Contracts/Multiple Award Task Order Contracts. The new process requested that updated or supplemental information be prepared and submitted prior to the Corps making a selection of which AE would receive the task order.
Following strong objections by industry, including ACEC, over the additional cost and time of the process, USACE was encouraged to reevaluate these requirements and collaborate with their industry partners to develop an alternative process that meets the needs of all parties involved.
On February 26, at 1:00, join John Jacobson, Executive Director, Contracting, United States Army Corps of Engineers and Miro Kurka, Chair, ACEC Federal Agencies and Procurement Advocacy Committee as they explain the changes and new Task Order selection requirements.
Presenters: John Jacobson, Executive Director, Contracting, United States Army Corps of Engineers and Miro Kurka, PE, PMP, Water Resources Group Leader, Mead & Hunt and Chair, ACEC Federal Agencies and Procurement Advocacy Committee
