This document will assist the project manager with relevant items to consider and review when preparing bid documents. It is crucial that the bid document includes everything the contractor will need to bid the project. The document must be accurate, consistent and easy to understand. Prior to drawings being issued for bidding, drawing reviews are to be done with respect to presentation, design integrity, cost-effectiveness, contractor interpretation, and constructability. If progress reviews have been performed per the Quality Management Plan process this review should generate minimal comments.
