Please join the co-chairs of the ACEC Subcommittee on Artificial Intelligence, Catherine Bragg, JD, MBA, CIPP/US, SVP and General Counsel for TRC, and Mark Blankenship, CPCU, AIC, LEED AP, Director of Risk Management for Willis A&E, for a discussion of the Subcommittee’s recommended policies for adoption of artificial intelligence in an engineering firm.
The program will start with an overview and purpose of the guidelines. Governance will be discussed including approvals and authorizations. Sources and tools for generated content and review requests will identified. Unapproved uses of AI will be defined. Guidelines for practice, including how to handle confidential information, keeping the client in the loop, and making the output your own will be examined. The program concludes with a discussion of warnings (ethical use, accuracy or lack thereof, intellectual property rights, limitations, bias, cross-border considerations) and topics for additional consideration.

- What total rewards strategies architecture, engineering, and consulting firms are implementing that attendees can consider for their own firms and teams
