Implementation of the DOD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program is coming, and time is running out for firms to prepare.
The new rule that lays out the CMMC program in detail goes into effect in December and will be quickly followed in early 2025 by a second final rule that outlines required contract language.
The costs and requirements that this new contract language places on small firms are significant, and it's imperative that firms don't wait to assess their cybersecurity. With more than 76,000 firms needing assessment and fewer than 100 qualified assessors, the competition for cybersecurity experts will be fierce.
Join Eric Crusius from Holland & Knight to examine the coming changes and help your organization prepare and succeed in today’s evolving cybersecurity landscape.
