This document is used by a project owner to retain an Owner’s Advisor to serve in an advisory capacity for the delivery of the project. The Owner typically retains an Owner’s Advisor when using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery method. The OA assists with selecting a CMAR, preparing Contract Documents (not including the design documents, which are prepared by the Engineer), and administering the contract between the Owner and the CMAR.
