CAMEE TOOL 4-1 was developed to assist mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering firms with developing, assessing, and inventorying the skill levels and competencies available throughout the company. This tool covers the full spectrum of engineering levels from “big picture” general definitions of engineering grades to specific skills/abilities per discipline. The tool also provides a developmental template to apply to any specific skill to any individual employee. The proficiency rubric is to be used in conjunction with the competency development plan template, applying qualifiers of level of expertise based on their company’s needs.
